The Committee’s mission is to provide a vehicle for the continuing improvement of island-wide curriculum and instruction in the Martha’s Vineyard Public Schools.
 
Goals
 
a forum for discussion and dialogue
to promote and support best teaching practices
to offer island wide guidance in the areas of curriculum development and instruction
use a variety of data and research to improve academic achievement
promote opportunities to work collaboratively on curriculum and instruction
 
Action Plan
Systematically evaluate curriculum and programs
Develop and implement a curriculum renewal plan for all grade levels and content areas
Maintain website
Publish monthly newsletter
