The SGA and the faculty of the high school have a direct contact. It is important for all members of the high school community to work together to promote positive change. Olsen Houghton, US History and Government teacher at MVRHS, will serve as the 2007-08 SGA faculty advisor. Mr. Weaver, assistant principal, serves as the administration's representative to the SGA.
Working Together
We are aware that it is frustrating for teachers to sacrifice class time to SGA members to attend meetings, as well as to send their students to assemblies. Therefore, the SGA will post assembly dates and times at least a month in advance, through the school's interdepartmental email.
