General

The Auditorium is a proscenium arch facility with 791 seats. There are 410 seats in the orchestra section at the front of the house, and 381 seats in the stadium section. The main entry is via a "vom" type central tunnel, which connects to a transverse aisle between the two sections. The proscenium width is 42'. The apron is 10' from the plaster line, and the stage depth is 24' from the plaster line. The theater has a full counterweight rigging system, with drill winches on the electrics. There are 192 2.4kw dimmers in a dimmer-per-circuit configuration. Lighting control is via a Strand LBX console which can be configured for manual operation as a 2 X 36 or 2 X 48 board, or as a fully computer controlled board. The sound console is a 24 input, 10 output Soundcraft Venue, and the theater is equiped with a compliment of installed speakers as well as numerous connection points for effects speakers. The auditorium has excellent acoustics.
