How to Insert and Resize Pictures in Appleworks

1. Open Appleworks When it asks you what type of document to create, select DRAWING.
2. In the new document, go to File and select Insert.
3. You will have a dialogue box to open a file Locate the images from your camera (the name should end in .JPG).


4. Your picture will now be on the screen (and most probably way bigger than you want) There are a few ways to change the size of the image you can choose one of the ways below

5. You can move the image by placing the cursor over the image and holding down the mouse button. Move the mouse to move the image on the screen.

6. ADDING TEXT You can add text to your images by selecting the (A) in the Toolbar on the left part of the Appleworks screen. When you move your cursor to the document, you will notice that it changes to a different (wordprocessing) cursor.
Click on the area you want to enter the text and a box will appear with a blinking cursor. Type in your text.
