Select your teacher name from the pull down list - Teacher Name/ID:
You will get a box like below.

Select the class that you would like to create a GradeSheet for - Click the Use Class ID button - A GradeSheet with all of your students will appear on the screen.
You can also select your homeroom and study halls using this method...
Save the file (File- Save) to something meaningful, like A Period or B IntroArt or C PhySci2
Use only letters, numbers, the underscore character "_" or the dash character "-"
Do not try to use the slash "/", backslash "\", asterisk '*", question mark '?" or any other character other than the above two. Some characters other than the underscore or dash have special meanings in computer systems and can cause your file not to work.
To rename the file go to File, Save As
Show Subtotals column (The Final Average on the far right of your grade book IS NOT the grade that gets exported.) Go to the VIEW menu and select SUBTOTALS - Be sure the TERMS check box is selected under "VIEW SUBTOTAL COLUMNS" Don't check the other two items - Categories and Categories by Term as it fills the screen with too much info) You need to do this only once for each class/independant study.
Click on Grading (on the menu bar at the top of the screen)
Click on Weight (Mac) or Weighting (PC)
On a PC turn Weight Term ON (click in the button next to ON), click Yes, type in 20 in the box next to Change and then click Change.
On a Mac click on Weight, Terms, Change Them When you are in the Edit Weights box type in 20 and click Make Change and Done
This will change the weight for term one to 20 (terms are weighted 20 each, 10 MIDTERM and 10 FINAL) One Semester courses should be weighted 40 each term and 20 for the FINAL (no MIDTERM for semester courses). If the course is for the second semester only make sure the term is 3, not 1. The program puts in 1 by default and you must change it.
(The following instructions, in Italic, should have been done by the program.)
Go back to Grading
Click on Grading Preferences
Put a check mark in the top two boxes.
"Use Numeric Grades instead of Grade Scale"
"Average Term Grades to Calculate Final Grades"
click OK
