2024 Scholarship Season Open!
The MVRHS Local Scholarship Application for the Class of 2024 and Postgraduate Alumni opens in January 2024. The MVRHS Guidance Department hosted a Local Scholarship Information Night for graduating seniors on January 30th. In case you missed it, a recording of the session was sent via email to seniors and parents on January 31st.
Local scholarship donors were contacted in the Fall of 2023 for participation in the 2024 Scholarship program. New scholarship inquiries or questions can be directed to Mary Korba at scholarships@mvyps.org. Nine *new* scholarships have been added to the 2024 program!
If you have any questions, please email Mary Korba at scholarships@mvyps.org.
Thank you Donors!
The MVRHS community would like to thank all of the organizations, families, businesses, and individuals who have generously contributed to the success of Class Night, an evening to honor graduating seniors receiving local scholarship awards. Students in the 2023 MVRHS graduating class received 505 scholarships totaling more than $1,205,491. Furthermore, MVRHS Postgraduates were awarded 231 new and continuing scholarships that total more than $1,013,573.
The scholarship program’s list of contributing donors and financial assistance continues to grow yearly. This demonstrates the value the island community places on our students to receive a post-secondary education. Each and every year scholarship awarded is an investment that creates an opportunity for a student. This generosity promotes an enhanced quality of “Vineyard” life for future years. We know that the students and their families greatly appreciate this assistance in meeting the steep costs of post-secondary education.
