English as a Second Language III

This course is designed for the student whose primary language is not English and who has skill level is at least "high beginning" to "low intermediate." The focus is on reading skills and strategies, speaking, listening and academic writing. This course prepares students to proceed to Sheltered English or in some cases to mainstream English.
