The Vineyard Kiosk
In this project you create a SELF-RUNNING slide show that is to be put in the Woodshole steamship terminal for tourists to see.
The slide show shall take the user on a tour of MV. Visit all 6 Island towns - tell about them and have picts of each. (2 slides per town)
The slide show should have forward and back buttons on the screen so the user can control the show. See page page 594 in text for info. A home button should also be used. Limit the user to using only the buttons to navigate.
The first slide is to be a map of MV that has invisible buttons on each town, that take you direct to that town.
A suggested construction order:
1. Make slideshow
2. Put next, home and previous buttons on the slides. (use the Master page method)
3. Slide 1 should have a island map with invisible hotspots to each island town.
4. Slide 1 should not have any buttons on it.
5. Limit the user to using only the buttons to navigate.
6. At the end of each town's slides eliminate any buttons going to the next town. Force a return to the main map.
7. Put your picture at the end of the slide show with heading "Slide show created by". Also create a hotspot on the map page to take the user to your picture.
