Current Project
"Ken Burns" video. The video should tell a story in the style popularized by the PBS documentaries created by Ken Burns

.

Use a series of stills to tell your story.

Use pan and zoom to give the images some life.

Choose background music that is appropriate for the images on the screen.

Use a "talking head" to clarify or add meaning to the subject.

Use a voice over on part of the video.

Proceed video with a title frame or text animation.

End the video with rolling credits (or other appropriate effect).


Rubric
1.Use a series of stills to tell your story.
Photos should be high resolution and clear.
video should be about 2-4 min. long.

2.Use pan and zoom to give the images some life.
Pans and zooms should be smooth and take the time needed for dramatic effect. For extra credit use the same picture two times in a row so that you may make a complex effext : for example zoom in -pan left then zoom out.

3. Choose background music that is appropriate for the images on the screen.
Music should vary during the video and should set the tone for the video.

4.Use a "talking head" to clarify or add meaning to the subject. (not you)

5. Have at least 1 voice over on part of the video.

6.Begin video with a title frame or text animation. End the video with rolling credits (or other appropriate effect).
