MARTHA'S VINEYARD REGIONAL HIGH SCHOOL
Director: Phyllis Vecchia, possesses a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education. She is a Creative dramatics, preschool, and elementary education teacher. Her Creative Dramatics program is the art in which children, under the guidance of an imaginative and responsive adult, create ideas, characters, and action, which eventually become scenes of a narrative with improvised dialogue and action.
This program will include theater warm-ups, fairy tales, folk tales, dress up in costume collections, face paints, puppets, improvisation, and weekly performance in a safe, supportive atmosphere. Children must bring a snack, drink, not sugar, and sunscreen.
