CTE is problem-solving, project-driven, competency-based learning by students. Learning is aligned to the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks to prepare all students for college and careers, and to provide trained, credentialed, and experienced employees to the community. We are committed to excellence and continuous improvement of student learning in CTE.
Currently, we have five CTE programs: Culinary Arts, Horticulture, Building Trades, Automotive Technology, and Health Assisting. Additionally, we are actively evaluating an amalgamation of Marine Studies, Nautical Science, and/or Aquaculture into a sixth CTE program to serve the island community.
Please consider membership on any of our six CTE program Advisory Committees. By participating, you will have an opportunity to guide the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School in preparing students for lifelong learning, career employment, and further post-secondary education.
